Sérgio Rosa, the new president of Previ, devoted part of his inauguration address delivered Monday, February 24, to what he called the pension fund?s ?problematic partnerships? in a range of companies. He said the fund will continue to invest in partnerships that give both sides advantages but will avoid others such as those seen under previous administrations involving ?stratagems? that resulted in contracts advantageous only to one side. This was an allusion to Previ?s dispute-ridden relationship with Opportunity in Telemig Celular and Amazônia Celular, among others. He also stressed that Previ will continue to partner with Petros, the Petrobrás pension fund.
