The single register will be implemented in three stages. The business model for the company that will manage it must be approved first. The company will then be set up and develop value-added services such as integration with credit bureau databases. The telcos plan to hold competitive bidding procedures for stages two and three, providing opportunities for other firms of consultants besides Accenture.
