CCISE Sessions

 

The Space Systems Coordination and Implementation Commission (CCISE) is responsible for running the Strategic Space Systems Program (PESE), which was created to meet the strategic needs of Brazilian society and its armed forces through the long-term implementation of dual-use (military and civilian) projects for Defense Space Systems. Representatives of the CCISE will be at the Latin American Satellites Conference to address this topic.

Interested candidates may submit their presentation proposals on any of the specific topics listed below. Presentations will be heard by the CCISE during the Latin American Satellites Conference to be held online on October 1, 2, 5 and 6, 2020.

Presentations selected by the event organizers will be delivered to the CCISE in a private and exclusive environment, and will serve to support the Commission in its planning process.

The submission of proposals for lectures should take place until July 27, 2020, when the lectures that will compose the “Meeting with CCISE” will be selected by the organization of the Latin American Satellite Congress, with support from CCISE.

Presentations will be given in an exclusive virtual room within the Latin American Satellites Conference portal on October 1, 2, 5 and 6, following a pre-defined schedule. The duration for each presentation will be 45 minutes (30 minutes presentation and 15 minutes Q&A).

The general public will not have access to these presentations.

Proposals will be accepted on the topics listed below. Off-topic suggestions may be submitted but will not receive priority in the selection process. Presentations should be planned for a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

Proposal Submission

Proposals must be sent until July 27 to the email satelites@glasberg.com.br containing in the field "Subject" the following text "Proposed lecture for CCISE - NAME OF YOUR COMPANY"

Each proposal must include a presentation title, an abstract of up to 10 lines, and name and profile of the presenter, including position, job title and relevant biographical data. In the case of more than one speaker, the allotted time will be shared and the above information must be provided for each individual (name, job title and position).

Proposals must also include an email address, phone number and position of the contact person for future communication.

Proposal Evaluation

Proposals will be analyzed by the Latin American Satellites Conference organizers, with the support of the CCISE, by July 31st. Selected presentations will be confirmed by email or telephone, along with allotted times and additional information. Presentations may be scheduled for any time between 10:30 am and 11:30 am or 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm on October 1, 2, 5 and 6, 2020, at the convenience of the event organizers and the CCISE.

Participation Terms

Any company and/or consulting firm may submit a proposal. However, before their presentations can be scheduled, speakers must be duly registered for the event with a minimum of 5 participants in the “Full Access” option, or be at least a SUPPORT SPONSOR. Schedule

The selection process will follow the schedule below:

• July 27, 2020 - Submission of proposals
• July 31, 2020 - Selection of proposals and start of appointments
• August 31, 2020 - End of the deadline for scheduling and registration of selected and opening of the second call for remaining vacancies

Participants will be notified in case any changes are made to the above dates.
